This realistic replica of a lion headdress is part of the 3rd generation lion head design which features a smaller(albeit life size) variation of the original lion headdress offered in my shop.
his piece features more substantial detail which is likewise reflected in the price.
This item can be produced at $1600 with less detail (much more simplified shading, more simplified trimming, hand painted eyes instead of acrylic ones, an entirely brown mane rather than this mixed blond/ gold and dark undertone one, a slightly smaller / shorter mane, etc.)
DIFFERENCE IN PRICE EXPLAINED
BROWN LION: refers to the color of the lion's mane not the face color. a pure brown mane does not have the gradual color transition from face fur to mane as seen in some photos. This option begins at $1800 USD. You may pair this option with a gold hairline transition to reduce the contrast between where the face fur ends and where the mane begins. At any given point we will have several brown color manes available. There will be some price variation between them with the darker ones being less expensive than the more highlighted ones.
GOLD: This lion would feature a detailed face with a fully ginger blond mane. This option begins at $1800. This Option can be paired with a gold hairline transition. This mane color can’t be used with dark tan or olive fur colors and must be used with a light tan fur.
OLIVE: This lion will feature a darker colored olive tan fur with a dark olive blond mane. The option starts at $1800.
ROYAL LUX OMBRE (RLO): This refers to the lion featured in the first listing photo with a warm blond face and blond mane with very dark undertones.. The lion has a very dark brown to black mane (depending on stock availability) and very bright gold/ blond highlights. It features a transitional section between where the fur on the face ends and the mane begins. This hair color is very limited and not always available. This option begins at $2100 USD and will require a gold hairline transition and acrylic eyes to match the lion in the photos.
Disclaimer regarding RLO: our mane material used in the photos was a very rare piece. We have not since had any manes quite that gold on the sides and back. though the lion will look quite blond from the front, please keep in mind, the majority of piece will have a mane with darker undertones on the side and back. This does mean a gold hairline transition will be required.
other face and mane colors are also possible. white and black lions are also available as are any custom colors. you may also choose variations in eye colors, mane lengths, etc. depending on inventory, some colors may not be available for rushed orders of less than 8 weeks if material needs to be ordered in.
CUSTOMIZATION:
the lion's head portion nose to back of head, not withstanding the mane, measures approximately 13.2"
